We are proud to offer the COPE (Care of People with Dementia in their Environment) Program. COPE is an evidenced-based practical program whereby the occupational therapist works with the carer and the person with dementia. The program aims to help both the person with dementia to engage in daily activities and the carer to support the person to remain at home. For more information about the COPE program, please refer to the COPE website via the below button.
We have created a 2-part dementia video education series. These recorded online videos are ideal for caregivers and family members of someone living with dementia. Brooke shares practical skills and knowledge to help you feel less overwhelmed and more confident on your dementia journey.
The 8-week practical skills program is aimed at supporting the informal caregiver of a person with dementia to overcome the challenges of supporting their loved one to remain living at home. It supports carers to develop practical skills and knowledge to help them feel more confident and competent and was developed by our OT team. Groups will run in Terms 1 and 4 of the school calendar year. Registrations are required at spots are limited - please contact our team for further details on 0400 917 449
